February 2026 Death Valley Scouting Trip

I just returned from a trip to Death Valley and had the opportunity to explore some new areas of the park. I discovered some inspiring new locations to photograph during the upcoming March Death Valley Photography Workshop. Among the finds are some hidden canyons and one of the least visited abandoned mines in Death Valley. Combined with the potential for wildflowers, this is shaping up to be an outstanding workshop.

During this visit I also managed to capture some of the desert life.

Rain is in the forecast for Death Valley along with mild temperatures. All indications are for an above average wildflower season in Death Valley.
